Our Congregation
We are a small, family oriented congregation that loves our Lord and wishes to serve him the best we can! We belong to the denomination of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), part of the Reformed faith, the Synod of the Covenant, a governing body spanning Ohio and Michigan, and to the Presbytery of the Western Reserve, the regional church body spanning from the Greater Lorain area, though Greater Cleveland to the Northeastern border of Ohio. For more on the Presbyterian Church, Synod or Presbytery, see the Favorite Links page for their respective websites. |

What We Believe-- Our Statement of Faith
- We believe in the Holy Trinity as the Father, the Creator God, the Son, God on Earth, and the Holy Spirit as God in the world. - We believe that the Word of God, incarnate as Jesus Christ, the Word written is the Holy Scripture, and that the Word proclaimed is the preaching of Jesus Christ. - We believe the Word of God, as found in the Old and New Testaments, is absolute and includes both the hearing and the reading of the Scriptures. - We believe the Word of God and the Sacraments of the Lord's Supper and Baptism are fundamental to the Creeds and Confessions of the Church. - We believe that the forgiveness of sins is through the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. - We believe that the Church of God is His people, not a building, who should extend their work far beyond the walls of the church, educating all with God's Word and to spread the light and love of Jesus Christ. - We believe in focusing on the community, for all are God's children and to show faith, compassion and hope to all. - We believe that music is praise to God to be sung by the congregation and choir. - We believe that the only way to attain eternal life is to accept the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Above All, we need to lead a Christian lifestyle by what we do and say.
Continuing as Disciples
As the congregation grows and the world changes, so to do we. We are the church reformed, always reforming, to meet the challenges we face head on and by the grace of God to overcome, prosper and glorify our Lord. We invite everyone's input as to how we can better prepare and perform to fulfill our calling as the People of God, and the Body of Christ.
